Thursday October 17th 1918 It was 23 years today since Charles died. I walked down town to get some things and rode back. weather fine. Aunty well and wont let me do any thing a letter from Ida at Chicago. One from Lydia says Wills cousin tonight. Beautiful day. I feel well. Friday October 18th 1918 Will got here last night. We visited some in the forenoon. I went for another treatment. we read and visited in the afternoon. Will down town awhile. Saturday October 19th 1918 I came out home on the 9 oclock to get some things. and back at 11:33. Aunty had dinner ready. I spent the afternoon and evening at home rain late. Sunday October 20th 1918 I did a little reading and writing. The folks made a short call in the afternoon. They were at riding . It was a delightful day for October. Monday October 21st 1918 Was at home most of the day. Did not head from Ida. I wrote her and prepared some mail to forward. After supper walked to PO and came back on the car. Tuesday October 22nd 1918 A letter from Ida. The folks are not dangerously sick. She wanted some things sent. Aunty and I did up a box and Fannie & Hattie were here and they took it to the PO. Aunty had the women to do washing. Took treatment in AM
