Wednesday October 23rd 1918 I went down town soon after dinner. I got some things for the table. came back in the car weather very nice. Aunty had a card from Ida. Thursday October 24th 1918 I am crotcheting some. I went over to Hatties early in the afternoon. Earl Etterback has sold his interested in the store to Rob. Left last night for camp. I got home jist as Aunty had supper ready. They are making things sad looking over at The Old Place. where the State is putting up barracks. Friday October 25th 1918 I was at home all morning wrote a long letter to Winnie Laurence. I walked down town in the afternoon. weather delightful. I went to Dr Brannors office of our errand. Got the bread and walked home. Saturday October 26th 1918 I came out home at 9 oclock. I did some baking and got dinner. Will came at 10:30. I had a letter from Millie Byington. weather threatening. Will needed in giving Old Maid to Corrie Dennis. The folks have no place to keep her now. We went back at 2:54. I took treatment. Sunday October 27th 1918 I felt badly all day. was in bed most of the time. The folks were out riding and called here a little while. I wrote a short letter to Ida.
