Friday December 6th 1918 I did some fancy work in forenoon. a nice day. I went to town with Rob after dinner to take my treatment. Did some errands. Then went out to see Ida awhile. Home with Rob at supper time. He and Cora spent the evening here. Saturday December 7th 1918 I fixed some lunch for Will and her went to Coralville at ten oclock. Rob took me to town after dinner. I went out at 1:45. Will had been very busy. Had the house warm and taken out the screens and did other things. We put away things taken out and enjoyed being there. came home together at 4:15. I walked from the car up home. We got out home to stay on Wednesday. a fine day. Dottie & Fannie were in town. they walked home. Sunday December 8th 1918 It was a fine day. I wrote letter in forenoon to Joe Woolf and Lydia. Hattie was out looking over the Barracks. Will talked with Charlie Hedges a long tome out in the yard. I walked out to The Barracks in afternoon and down to Otts. Hattie over to Idas Aunty had an accident by cutting her hand on a fruit jar. Monday December 9th 1918 Will went over to Idas for Hatties [rubbers?]. We girls all went to town by walked to the bridge to get in the car. I was in Dr Bronsons office when Will came in to tell me he was to see a man coming from
