Friday January 17th 1919 I got up at ten oclock. Fannie here a little while. Ott home from Des Moines last night. Hattie busy with the work. Got LeGrands room ready and told the plumber of things she wanted done. Saturday January 18th 1919 I did not get up till nearly noon. I went to Dr Bronson in afternoon in a taxi. Fannie went on to Mrs Swishers. I spent some time at Dr Bronson. got my bill $109.00. I went over to the store and Rob went out for Hattie & Fannie. I wrote to Lydia in evening. Sunday January 19th 1919 Hattie went to Sunday school and church and Rob took Cora the rest of us over to Idas for dinner. Ott & LeGrand went away soon after and we girls stayed till six oclock. Rob came for us and we had supper at Otts. Hattie & I came home about 8:30. I was utterly worn out and went to bed. Monday January 20th 1919 I did not get up till noon. Ott & Fannie went to Des Moines at 3:30. Hattie went to the depot and met Birdie who came on the same train. I went to bed early. Tuesday January 21st 1919 I did not get up till nearly noon. I wrote Fannie in afternoon. I had a call from Frank Donner in regard to buying the Coralville place. Birdie unpacked and put her things away in the forenoon.
