Saturday April 6th 1919 Ott came down last night. He gave me the interest money to send Vene and I wrote in afternoon to Lydia Cora went to Des Moines for a weekend visit. Ott closed the deal selling our Abstract Stock today. so glad Sunday April 6th 1919 It was a pleasant day. I was in bed till three oclock Dr Smith over to see me at two. Hattie rode in their car in the forenoon with Dr Whinney driving and to a meeting in the afternoon. I sat on the porch awhile. If Will were only here. Monday April 7th 1919 I felt better today. Hattie at work in the garrett and I was up there a little while. letters from cousin Jen and Lydia. I sat on the porch awhile. a shower late in afternoon. Tuesday April 8th 1919 Was up in the garret with Hattie in forenoon. Dinner early we went to town with Rob he took us out to Ida's Aunt Emma was there awhile. Home to supper. Evening on the couch. Cora telephone tonight that she was sick. Will come home tomorrow. Wednesday April 9th 1919 It was a drizzling day. Cora came at 2:45 and went right to bed. I am feeling better than the first of the week. Wrote to Lydia enclosed LeGrand and cousin Janes letters. Thursday April 10th 1919 It is 4 months today since Will was taken from me. Oh how long it seems since I heard his voice. I went to town with Rob after dinner. payed the last electric light bill. It was for six months. went out to Idas on the car. She is beginning to pack her things. come with Rob at supper time. Dr Stewart to see Cora.
