Hattie had washing done. I ironed some. a very nice day. letter from Lydia. Tuesday May 13th 1919 was busy about the house most forenoon. Rode to town with Cora for treatment. She brought me home. I got a pair of low shoes. I wrote Warner McCall after supper. Hattie down to Otts. Wednesday May 14th 1919 I went o Coralville with Mr Grier before noon. I got me some dinner and was there looking over things till the 4:30 car. I was very tired and went to bed early. Thursday May 15th 1919 I was busy about the room. wrote Ida in forenoon. After dinner did some mending. Mrs Gibbs and children here. I was down to Fannie awhile. wrote to Lydia in evening. The men began tearing down the old barn today. How nicely Will kept it when we had the care of the old house. Friday May 16th 1919 I was busy about my room in forenoon. walked to town to take treatment in afternoon. Rob & Cora here for supper. I rode home with them. Birdie and I talking in evening. Saturday May 17th 1919 I went to Coralville at 9:15. I worked around and got a few things ready to bring back with me. I looked over the relics in Wills old trunk. If we had only done this when he could help me. Back at 4:30 tired and sick. The girls were down town. Got home at 6:30. I went to bed early.
