Sunday July 13th 1919 very warm. Hattie and Laura to church. I got the dinner Ott went west in afternoon. I slept awhile. wrote Sue & Sallie Reed. I had heard lately from them that cousin Ann Reed was dead. wrote Mrs McClay and Lizzie Lindley. Monday July 14th 1919 It was a very warm day. I sewed some and took nap in afternoon. Hattie to The Old Ladies home. Laura took treatment. William took her over in the car. Evening in the yard. Tuesday July 15th 1919 I went to Coralville at 9 oclock. I washed curtains and did other washing. Got eggs of Mrs Jones. William came for me. he and Fannie were here for supper. weather cooler. I cooked and ate the last meal here today. How I remember the first we had in Feb 1901. Wednesday July 16th 1919 The Whetstones with some friends went for all days Auto Trip. I was home all day. sewed some. William took Laura to town in afternoon. She and I spent evening with Fannie. Thursday July 17th 1919 The folks did not get home till late last night. Cora not well today. William sold the old iron about the place. The State is grading a road on the north hill. I rode to the home at Coralville with William and Fannie of an errand. Laura spent evening at George Stevens. I finished her letter home. Friday July 18th 1919 I did some washing. Hattie to town with William to do errands. She ironed things for Cora. I slept some in PM. Did not sleep much last night. Hattie to town in evening. Laura and I here alone. Mrs A G Smith here awhile.
