Tuesday July 29th 1919 I helped Hattie with a bushel of peaches till nearly noon. Rob had early dinner. I went to Coralville at 12:15. I painted some furniture. came home t 4:15. The painters and paper hangers are all making good progress. very warm. Wrote to Laura in evening. Wednesday July 30th 1919 Rob took me to Coralville this morning. I painted the furniture again and did some packing. Henry and Mr Vaughn came up to the house for some things. William came for me. I had my dinner later and did some cleaning. The folks gone for a trip in the Auto to small towns. Thursday July 31st 1919 The boys from Coralville both here. I got my carpets cleaned and [planing?] the back porch with Henry. Dr Allen went home today. Hattie to town in afternoon. I washed some. Wrote Lydia in evening. Friday August 1st 1919 It rained last night and is cooler. Hattie had Mrs William help her all day. She cleaned all her part of the house. The painters finished last night. I out down carpets in both bed rooms. We ate supper at Otts. The folks went to ride. Letter from Lydia. Saturday August 2nd 1919 William took me to Coralville early and I began getting things ready for the transfer men. They took one load before dinner. I ate over at Mrs Jones. The Griers were moving out in afternoon. The men took the second load so I got down town on the 4:15 and home in a taxi. Hattie to the depot to meet the Miller girls. Rob & Cora had supper here. We sat in the yard after supper. I am so tired I can never forget my coming away alone from the house. The [hay?] left to others.
