Monday September 15th 1919 Hattie and I washed some. I worked all the rest of the forenoon cleaning glass and windows screens. The dust is thick on every thing. I sewed and put down the carpet in the bay window in afternoon. Ott & Fannie here in evening. 35 years since Rob died. Tuesday September 16th 1919 I did more cleaning today. Helped Hattie what I could. Miss Fallen here making a dress for Hattie. Rob & Cora for dinner. Fannie to help plan things in the morning. I wrote Vene in the evening. Wednesday September 17th 1919 It started to rain this morning. I worked most of the forenoon cleaning the porch. I prepared dinner for us. Rob Cora Miss F-- Hattie and me in my kitchen. I went over to Coras while the party was in progress and slept some. LeGrand is here. He came yesterday. The girls busy all evening planning a party for Friday. Thursday September 18th 1919 I helped Hattie most of the day. The girls set their tables in the afternoon. I walked to town about 5 oclock. I paid bill at Thomas & Harley & Connell. I looked after my carpets that have come from Peoria. Rode home with Rob. Blanche & Little Robert came tonight. Heavy rains. a good letter from Lydia. Friday September 19th 1919 I helped some this morning. It has stopped raining. I wrote to Lydia. I had some dinner early and went down to Otts before the luncheon at one oclock. Orrie Spencer come today awhile with me. We walked up home after the ladies left Lulu Bloom came today. It was late when we had some supper. The girls were getting their things home. I washed supper dishes.
