Friday November 14th 1919 I do not get up early, so the forenoons are short. Vene doing a little ironing. I walked over to Lizzie Duncans to spend the afternoon. I got home jist before dark. Laura went to Armington to a ball game. Saturday November 15th 1919 I got up earlier for Laura and I went to Peoria at 10:55. It was a nice day for it. I did not feel very well as I got car sick on the way in. We did many errands. Laura bought shoes and other things. I bought some soft slippers and material for a waist. I had a letter from Hattie. I was very tired went to bed early. Sunday November 16th 1919 Laura and Edith went to Lincoln on an early train to spend the day with The Parsons family. I did not get up early and felt wretched all day. Frank & Sophia Woolf were here awhile in the afternoon. Other callers later. The girls got home at 8 oclock. I went to bed early. a nice day. Monday November 17th 1919 I did not get up till nine oclock. a fine day and Vene did washing. I helped a little with the work. I crotchet some. Took a long walk before supper.
