Saturday January 1st 1910 It was quite mild this morning. I got my work done up and went down home for a days visit. Will came down for dinner. I did not come home till 5.30 I would liked to have got some things in town but the stores were all closed. I wrote Lydia today so Lorna could see the letter before she went to her school. I read all the evening. Sunday January 2nd 1910. I went to church in the morning. Rob gave me ice cream for our dinner I was reading most of the afternoon and evening Weather colder than yesterday Monday January 8th 1910 It was late when we got up. Will went down to the Court House to a meeting and we did not have dinner till one-oclock. At 2.12 I went down to Woolfs where I spent a pleasant afternoon. I came home at 5.30 got our suppers and in the evening I worked at my tatting and read some. It is still colder tonight. It feels like snow.
