Friday January 28 1910 I did a little extra cleaning up in the forenoon and in the afternoon went down to Mrs Robinsons. I stopped at Hoffmans and bought a couple of nice roosters that Will brought home. I was over to Jones all evening. Mrs Jones and I settled about Will's board while I was away. Saturday January 29 1910 Will went to town and I got my Saturday work done quite a lot of cleaning and dinner ready. I went down at 2.12 and went to the matinee of "St Elmo" with the girls from over the river. I enjoyed it so much I bought the book. Did not get home till 5.39. I read papers all evening. Sunday January 30 1910 I did the work and read and wrote some. I do not feel very well. Weather cold Will about house all the time Monday January 31 1910 I washed a few pieces and dried them in the house so I ironed them. I do not feel well. I read some and worked around the home. Will at home all day and busy most of the time with the work We paid Mr. D[illegible] $174.75 for corn today as he finished hauling
