Saturday February 5 1910 I got through the morning work with Wills help He went to town at 12.12. I sewed quit a bit today I finished Cora's linin pillow cases with the tatting There was a musical at the church and play at Opera house I wanted to attend Sunday February 6 1910 I cant see that I feel much better. I got the work done and read in a book till dinner time. I wrote a long letter to Alice Condon. I felt so much worse that Dr Smith came out at 10.39 to see me. His brother at Wellman died suddenly yesterday afternoon. Monday February 7 1910 I was not able to sit up. Hattie came out at 9.32 and got Wills dinner. Waited on me till 3.12 She had to go to town. Will had Mr Hoffman take a hog to North Liberty today. Tuesday February 8 1910 I had quite a comfortable night and Will got me some breakfast. Hattie came out and got the dinner and did the work. She went home at 3.12 as Will could stay with me awhile and get my supper. Cora is not well so it is hard for her to be away. I did not sit up a minute all day but suffered less pain
