Sunday March 20 1910 I was busy about the work most of the forenoon and wrote and read some after dinner. It was a fine day Mary Woolf and [Jeunie?] were here awhile in the afternoon I set five hens in the evening. Ott & Mother to the west [farm?] Monday march 21 1910 It was a fine day. Hattie & Mother came out. Will took potatoes down to the home folks and Aunt Lil in the afternoon. Hattie went to town at 2.12. John came out at 5.30 to take Mother home. We began taking ice today. Will got it in the morning. This is the day the vote was cast to enlarge Iowa City and it carried. Tuesday march 22 1910 will and I were down to the Hoffman house we have bought in the morning. Will went in town and settled with them paying the rest of the money. We both wen in after dinner I stopped to see Eugene and walked on up town. I selected some paper for the house just bought. Will looked after several things We came home at 3.30. I had a card from Lizzie Lindley she is coming to Iowa City some with her father
