Wednesday August 31 1910 By a little mistake we did not get started on the train we had expected to in the morning. So we spent another day very pleasantly with Ida. left Carthage at 5.15 and reached The Harris House before they were through supper. visited with Birdie till bed-time. What a nice time we are having. Thursday September 1st 1910 It was raining some so we did not come home till afternoon leaving there at 3.30 and reaching I. City by way of Hills at 6.40. Before we had to leave Mr Crosby came and took me to the hospital to see Dorothy and the baby. After we had supper. Mr & Mrs H-- went home Friday September 2 1910 Will went after our baggage this morning. I staid with Mother all day while all the rest went to the fair Will Mother & I ate dinner alone. The baby show was going on at the fair. The girls took 20 pieces of fancy work getting [illegible] on 16 of them. We were late getting home. I wrote a card to Lydia and to Lizzie Lindley.
