Saturday September 3 1910 I was busy all forenoon with the work. Did quite a lot of baking. Will went to town at 12.12. Mrs Jacobs was p to pay her rent. I wrote to Ida and did other writing in the afternoon. It was so good to rest a little. Sunday September 4 1910 It was a day of a heavy atmosphere and we did not exert ourselves much. I read some and we talked. Rob & Cora here in afternoon. to bed early. Monday September 5 1910 Will worked all day at the pile of old lumber left from the building last year and got it all cleaned away. I started to wash late in the afternoon as the look of rain had passed away. Ott called up at noon saying there was to be a meeting of the [Abstract?] Co and wanted me to come down which I did at 1.12. I gave him power to vote my stock. Came home at 2.30 and finished up the washing. putting some of it on the line after supper
