Tuesday September 6 1910 The clothes were dry so I ironed them and washed out some more things away then a quilt. Will busy cutting weeds. Weather bright again. Wednesday September 7 1910 I did more ironing and churning in the morning and [illegible] chicken for dinner. I was too tired to go down home so did my mending. Word from John & Hattie who left Sunday night for a trip to South Bend say they are having a good time. Thursday September 8 1910 I was busy with work all forenoon. Went down to the store for things. I took butter & eggs to Fannie in the afternoon. I could not go to the Daughters party up at [illegible] in the later afternoon. Will mowed all the weeds in the front lot and hauled three loads of [sand?] from the car. Friday September 9 910 I worked all day to put up a bushel of peaches I got yesterday. Will busy about the place in forenoon and went to town in afternoon. a nice day.
