Wednesday November 23 1910 Nellie Byington has been married a year today Will doing some work about the place. I was busy sewing and in the evening wrote to Lydia and [illegible] McCall. Weather more pleasant. Thursday November 24 1910 It was like a spring day. Will and I went down at ten oclock. I going directly home to help Hattie with the dinner. Cora had gone to Des Moines. Otts family with Mr & Mrs [Bremer?] were there. Some of the folks went to the foot-ball game in the afternoon. I did not come home till 7.30 a most delightful Thanksgiving day. Friday November 25 1910 Another fine day. I got [illegible] old bed from the garret and fixed it up to take down to the little dog at home. Will & I went down in the buggy after dinner. I did not come home till 8.30 as Hattie was away awhile. I am working tatting for a fancy sheet. Three years this afternoon we laid Father to rest
