Wednesday February 15 1911 I went to town at 8.15 and finished selecting paper. Got home at 10.40 and we both worked all afternoon on the house. There was a hard rain tonight. Thursday February 16 1911 It rained most of the day. I was ripping up an old dress to make over at 4.15 Went down to the [Newton?] lecture. I met Hattie & Effie. Will came on the next car and we all went out to Aunt Emmas together. We had a nice time but came home in a hard rain Friday February 17 1911 Busy with home work [& etc?] all day. I had intended to go to a meeting at Mrs. Patricks but the weather was not fit. I did fancy work and read in the evening a card from Lizzie Lindley says Emily married again Saturday February 18 1911 Did a lot of work before noon. Will to town at 1.15 I another later. I met Miss [Teefey?] on the car She told me Alva was in Cedar Rapids and her sister very bad I bought me a new sewing machine. I called on Flora [McCleary?]. We came home at 4.30. read in evening
