Thursday September 7 1911 Will and I went to town got him some clothes and a lot of other things. He sold the hogs tonight. I put up plums. Friday September 8 1911 Will sold 5 hogs for $107.50 and in the afternoon digged the potatoes. Ida out for dinner. Hattie came in afternoon and they went back together. 31 years today John & Hattie were married Saturday September 9 1911 Will and I to town in the buggy in the morning. I got a hat I did not like so took it back in afternoon and went over and borrowed Hatties. I had a lot of work to do in the evening. Sunday September 10 1911 Was busy with the work all forenoon. Will and I went down on the 1.15 and out to [Lucas?] in one of the carriages to attend Phoebe Lucas funeral. Will was one of the pall-bearers I went to the cemetery in a carriage was at Mothers grave for a little while. Came home with head-ache did evening work. Monday September 11 1911 We had churning and a big washing to do today I did the ironing in afternoon. Will busy getting things ready to go tomorrow
