Wednesday, February 7th 1912 It was a cold day. I was at home all day doing the housework the easiest way possible. Toof the [medicine?] for my cold and doing some fancy work. Letter from Mary Briggs. Thursday, February 8th 1912 I put in today as yesterday. Wrote a letter to Ida. The word from Rob & Cora say they are going to keep [house/ horse?] [illegible] Friday February 9th 1912 Was busy with the work all morning. I went down at 1:15. Did - poorly did - some errands and went out to Ida [illegible] to spend the [illegible] with the [Cousins?] there. Home at 5:00. Very cold. Mrs. [illegible] here in spring. Saturday February 10th 1912 Will helped me and I cleaned the kitchen before dinner. I did some [laundry?] in the [illegible] and ironed in the evening. Will did not go to town, was tired to bed early Sunday February 11th 1912 I was busy about the house in the morning. After dinner I wrote a letter to Ida and cards to [Lejie Lindley?] and Lydia. [Illegible] [illegible & [illegible] came out at 2.40 and stayed til 5:15. I read all evening Monday February 12th 1912 It was a cold day. I was sewing all day fixed my blue calico dress and did some mending. Will about house all day. Tuesday February 13th 1912 I worked all [illegible] doing [illegible] and cleaning. The dinner was late. I had a letter from Nellie. I wrote to Rob and Cora in the [illegible]. Did some fancy work and read most of the evening.[illegible] [illegible] [illegible] a terrible shooting [illegible] [illegible] the [Boontz?] family two killed
