Thursday June 20th 1912 I baked bread and Will helped me wash. The clothes were dry by noon just in time to escape a shower. I slept awhile in the afternnon. Ida Anderson and Mary were out awhile. I got the supper and read in evening. a letter from Alice Conners telling me about Aunt Lydia's death. Friday June 21st 1912. I ironed and did some other work in the forenoon and was too tired to go to Mr Smiths to The Missionary meeting. slept awhile and after early supper Will, Laura, and I rode down to Aunt Libs to see Aunt Sarah. Will brought home a bushel of cherries we got of Mr Conner and we girls went up town and came home by car. wrote Mary Briggs. Saturday June 22nd 1912 Laura seeded cherries all forenoon for me. I helped some, got part of them in the cans and the dinner. I was all done by three oclock so I took a sleep. Will was to town a couple of times. I wrote Hattie and enclosed a letter I had from Nellie. We set on the porch and read after supper. Sunday June 25th 1912. It was a fine morning. Laura went to church with Elmer Anderson and home with them to dinner. Will and I went down to the church in Coralville to the funeral of Mr. Fachlers who met his death buy a fall down The Getter elevator shaft ten days ago. After dinner I read and wrote some, took a sleep and at 4:15 went down to Otts. Louie was there and I went home with her to supper. They met Laura at the dry store and we went to the M. E. Church.
