Saturday August 31st 1912 It was a warm day. I washed and ironing both did the mending and put the clothes away. Will was about home all forenoon but went to the farm for Jinnie late in the afternoon. Will and I sat on the porch all evening. It was a year tonight since all watched beside Mother together. Sunday September 1st 1912 It was a perfect hot day. A year today since Mother left us. Hattie had us all invited there for dinner. In afternoon Ott Fannie Hattie & I went to the cemetery. The girls had flowers on all the graves. We came through the park on the way home. Will came at 4:30 and I an hour later. We had lunch and sat on the porch. I was very tired indeed I wrote to Lydia and Millie Byington before going down home. Monday September 2nd 1912 We had a little rain this morning. I was busy with the work all morning. John & Hattie got here at noon for tomatoes stayed till three oclock. Will took Jinnie to the farm in afternoon. Did evening work and sat on the porch. Tuesday September 3rd 1912. I was busy with the work all forenoon after going over to the farm early to see how Jinnie came on with the painting. he was to be done tonight can Joe would take him in. The last part of the day very hot. I was going down to Aunt Libs but gave it up. I am working on a tatting bag for Hattie. It was a year today since we looked on Mothers face for the last time.
