Wednesday March 12th 1913 I had a bad night and did not sit up at all during the day. Cora came out and got dinner for Will and looked after things for me. weather brighter. Thursday March 13th 1913 Cora out again to help Will about the work. I feel some better but not able to be up till supper time for jist a little while. It began snowing before Cora went home. Friday March 14th 1913 There was a frightful rain and wind last night the ice went out of the river. I slept some. Will went in town after dinner which I got to see the Dr and got other medicines Hattie came out with him and was here an hour. Saturday March 15th 1913 There was a regular March blizzard today. Will did not go to town. I was up most of the time and with his help did the work. I had such a good letter from Lydia. Sunday March 16th 1913 We were late getting up. I rest fairly well. Rob came out about ten oclock bringing a horse Will had bought of him and stayed an hour to talk about a change in the store. I read some in afternoon. Rob & Cora out in evening. Monday March 17th 1913 Will went to town to see about some money Mothers Aunt Jones had paid in his interest. Will got his dinner in town. I felt wretched but was up all day. I read and did a little fancy work.
