Wednesday July 2nd 1913 We left for home at 10:30. Got dinner at Peoria I was up town awhile. Had some wait at Rock Island reached Iowa City at 12:15. Went over the river to stay all night. Thursday June 3rd 1913 Will brought our things out in the buggy and took it back. We visited with The Hoffmas, Mrs H -- had put up 64 qts of cherries. They went home after dinner and Will & I did a washing. I washed my hair too. Friday July 4th 1913 I ironed in the forenoon and got ready to go down to Otts by 3:15. Will came later and we had supper on the porch. Ott was not well had just got home from Pittsburg. William had a few fire-works. We came home at 9:30. It had been a very warm day. Saturday July 5th 1913 I was all forenoon doing baking and cleaning. Will went to town in afternoon. I did a lot of writing. I went down townat 7:15 for some things I wanted. Sunday July 6th 1913 The weather was cooler. I was busy most of the forenoon with the house work. I slept awhile after dinner. At 4:40 Rob Cora Blanch Ott & Little Robert came out. I got the supper & we spent the evening on the porch. They went homer at 9:15 and I washed my dishes.
