Friday September 12th 1913 I got my work done early. For company I had Aunt Emma Ida Callie Corrie Minnie Anna did not get home. Cora came out in the afternoon and Rob came out for supper. weather some cooler. Saturday September 13th 1913 We went down town and the [horse?] was there to take us over home. Carl Duncan came this morning. We had a pleasant visit saw Nellie & baby. LeGrand brought us home in the Auto about five oclock. Wills boy would have been forty years old today had he lived. Sunday September 14th 1913 Will & Carl took a ride. Lizzie & I went to church. They met us at "The Van Meter" for dinner. Then we all walked down to Jennie Shucks for a call. Come home at 3:40 I wrote to Adda Miller before supper. Spent the evening visiting. a pleasant day. weather fine. Monday September 15th 1913 LeGrand took us to ride all forenoon in the Auto. I did some baking after a late dinner. Spent the time visiting. It is 29 years today since Rob died, a long time. Tuesday September 16th 1913 It was raining some but Will took Lizzie & I down to Woolfs. A good day visit and dinner. It was dry enough that we came home on the 4:30 car. Will came before Carl went to town and did not get out till 8:40. The folks will go home tomorrow.
