Monday October 13th 1913 weather pleasanter. Will & Mr Vaughn built walk down at the tenant house. I was down to the store for some things in the morning. In afternoon went in to dental clinics. Had an old tooth with crown taken out. came home at 4:30 did evening work and [crotcheted?] Tuesday October 14th 1913 It was a fine day did house work and had dinner so I started at 1:15 for Aunt Libs. Ida was over there too. Came home at 4:30. Will & Mr Vaughn fixed the fence about the well and made a fine new hitching rack. Wednesday October 15th 1913 I did some cooking in forenoon. Ida came out for dinner. Will & I went up to Mr. Burts north of town in afternoon and got 1 1/2 bushels of fine peas at $1.00 a bushel. we girls visited and worked at fancy work. Thursday October 16th 1913 It rained all day long. We did the cooking and our fancy work. Ida did not attempt to go down home. Friday October 17th 1913 weather pleasanter. The forenoon was soon gone. Will went to town at 1:15 and Ida and I an hour later. She went over the river and I up to Mrs Abrams to Home Mission meeting. I had time to see Dr Smith and came home at 4:30. Did evening work and did a lot on Ida's wool jacket I am making. It was 18 years today since Charlie died so suddenly.
