Monday January 19th 1914 I was busy about the wash all forenoon. Will sold the house down in Coralville this morning to a Mr Henny Louis for $1,100. I went to town in the afternoon for a hour. I took apart a silk waist to fix. Tuesday January 20th 1914 I was busy in the kitchen all forenoon. went down to Mary Woolfs at 2:15 for a two hour visit. I was at work in the kitchen most of the evening. Wednesday January 21st 1914 I baked cake and got things ready to entertain the Hook & Needle Club from the West Side this afternoon. The ladies came out at 2:40. Mrs Dr Smith was my guest. We had a pleasant meeting. Hattie and I went down to the station with them at 5:15 and we did thing we would go to town together later but Hattie went home at 7:15. I read in the evening. Thursday January 22nd 1914 I was at home all day sewing on the waist I am trying to fix and doing the housework. Friday January 25th 1914 I did a little sewing in the forenoon. Hattie tells me Cora has the neurolgia in her such as she had in Denver. I went to P E O meeting. Hattie and I were going to a picture show but it rained so I stayed all night. we had a good visit.
