Tuesday February 3rd 1914 I was busy all forenoon with the dinner. Rob & Cora were out and Cora stayed till after supper. We went down at 7:15 to attend a recital by the students of the School of Music. I got home at 10:40. Wednesday February 4th 1914 I was busy all forenoon with the work. I went to town at 1:15 and out to Mrs Emmons with things for my dress. I walked over to Mrs Connons from there stopped for Aunt Emma & Anna. We had a pleasant meeting and I got home at 5:40. A nice wintry day. A good letter from Lydia today. I read in the evening. Thursday February 5th 1914 I was sewing some today on a dress skirt. I left home at 4:15 going back to the Christian Church for supper. met Rob Cora & Hattie there. We girls then went to The Library awhile and later to hear "Christine Miller" sing. It was an evening pleasantly spent. I got home at 10:40. Friday February 6th 1914 It snowed and blowed all day. I got the meals and did some sewing and fancy work. Will at home all day. Saturday February 7th 1914 A cold day. I did some sewing. I went to town after supper (at 6:15) to get things I needed for dinner tomorrow and change a book at the Library. I got home about eight oclock and worked an hour in the kitchen. I read awhile before going to church.
