Sunday April 12th 1914 It was a fine day. We went to church. All The Hedges children were taken into full membership. We got dinner at [Rurchle?] Hotel and then walked over the river. Joe and her friend went home at three oclock. We came home at 4:30. Will had head-ache all day and went down town at 7:15 to see the Dr. I read all evening. Monday April 13th 1914 A pleasant day. I washed a few pieces and ironed them besides that I swept and dusted the whole house. Will did not feel well but did some raking in the yard and garden. Tuesday April 14th 1914 I did some baking and sewed a little in forenoon. I went to town in afternoon to picture show and to Dr Breenes office. I read in the evening as I did last night in a book to finish it. Wednesday April 15th 1914 Was out doors awhile in forenoon. weather fine, had dinner early. Will went to town. The Pastor Mr Ellis called and later I went down to Mrs Prentiss to The Hook & Needle Club. Came home at 5:30 to get supper. Will & I caught chickens tonight. Thursday April 16th 1914 I helped Will get the chickens ready this morning. he did not get home to dinner till one oclock. They brought 8.97. I went to town at 2:15. was at one of the S. U. I buildings to an art exhibit and later down to the M E Church to a reading and recital. Came home at 5:30 to get supper. The weather is warm and I felt very tired. went to bed early.
