Friday June 26th 1914 The weather was very threatening. Vene Edith & I durried down to the station for the 8:15 car to avoid a shower. The rains went around and the day was fine only for rather a strong wind. There was about 80 people to "Our Cousins Party" and every body thought they had such a nice time. The dinner was nice and the place cards so arranged that every body seemed to enjoy it so much. Will & I sat at the head of the big table. Vene & Edith went home with The Stevens. I helped sort dishes and silver. Will & I stayed till after supper. The girls went to a P E O meeting. We came home at 8:30. Saturday June 27th 1914 There was a hard rain last night. Will drove down and got my things. Then went down to a convention at eleven oclock. I put up the cherries we had picked Thursday night and got some lunch. I went down to Hatties at 1:15. I ironed linen most of the afternoon. Will came over for supper and we stayed all night. Ida went home with Robert McC-- Sunday June 28th 1914 Will and I came home at 9:30. I put some things away and got dinner. The folks heard from Will Bremmer by telephone and have given up the Auto trip up there. Hattie Fannie & William go tonight by train. Hart Spencers family here in afternoon. weather cool enough for fire. Jist before supper The Stevens family came in the Auto bringing Vene & Edith. we spent the evening visiting.
