Sunday November 1st 1914 I went to church and then over to Hatties to dinner. The folks from the other house were there. Will came too. He did not feel like going to church. Later we walked over to Woolfs and home at 5:30. read in eve. Monday November 2nd 1914 Will helped me wash and I was busy about the house work and doing mending in the afternoon. Will began to cut up the tree that blew down while we were away. Tuesday November 3rd 1914 I ironed in the forenoon and at 6:15 went down town to look for a ready made dress. I got me a new black hat trimmed in white. I went over to Hatties in the Auto with William for Millie. By was already in town. Ott went back with us and we all had supper at the Presbyterian Church. By & Millie go away tomorrow. Wednesday November 4th 1914 I did some baking in forenoon. At 1:15 I took the dress back I brought home last night and put in all the afternoon looking for material. I went to see a dressmaker and later sent her the material for a brown wool dress. Thursday November 5th 1914 I worked at home all day with some fruit I got and at house cleaning. I did some work in the garret. Will began to tear down the old machine shed between us and Jones'. I went down to the M E Church in the evening to a concert. Met Hattie & Agnes at the store went with them.
