Wednesday November 11th 1914 I did baking and was all forenoon getting dinner. I went down at 2:15 to take another fitting for my dress. Came home at 4:30. I read in the evening. Thursday November 12th 1914 I sewed some what spare time I had fixing my brown satin petticoat. I went to town again to take the last fit on my dress. weather very fine. I began a tatting bag in the evening for the church bazaar. Friday November 13th 1914 I sewed some in the forenoon and did not go to town till 3:15. I went up to Mrs Stefans for my dress. It was done. I paid $6.00 for making. I got home at 4:30 I did some work after supper for my dinner tomorrow. Ott was out a few minutes to get Will's fur lined coat. He goes with LeGrand and some other boys to Ames tomorrow to a game. Saturday November 14th 1914 Will went to town at 9:15. I set my table and got my dinner ready. He came home at 11:30 and on the same car was Hattie, Fannie, Nellie Swisher & Susan Garett. We had a fine afternoons visit. The girls went home at 5:15. I got our suppers and worked all evening on the tatting bag. a mild day. Sunday November 15th 1914 Ott got home last night by train. The boys stayed in Des Moines. It rained some and turned cooler. I was at home all day. I tried to read in the evening but was so sleepy I went to bed early.
