Monday November 16th 1914 It was a very cold day. I was busy about the house all forenoon and in the afternoon took my green dress down to have it made. I was up in the office to talk with Ott a few minutes. Did fancy work in evening. Tuesday November 17th 1914 I got Wills dinner ready so I went down at 11:15 to have my dress fitted and over to Hatties to dinner. After dinner went down to Fannies to a reception. I got away from there in time to come home by 6:30. I was very tired. Wednesday November 18th 1914 I was busy in forenoon and went down to Hatties in the afternoon. Susan Fletcher with some others were there for a visit. We had a wonderful good time. I went to town and up to Mrs Stefans for my dress. I did not get home till 7:40. It blew up very cold at night. Thursday November 19th 1914 It was a frightful day. The wind was strong and it was very cold. I was at home and sewed all afternoon on my new brown dress. I had to change the neck and front some. Friday November 20th 1914 I cleaned up the house as it was more moderate. got my dinner so I went to town at 1:15. I was at the Dr office and them went out to Mrs A E Swishers where there were a few ladies. I could not wait for supper. I came home at 5:30 and Mollie came with me. we spent the evening visiting.
