Saturday May 8th 1915 I did baking and other work in forenoon. Will & I went to town together at 2:15. I went up to Mrs Emmons. She took the last fitting on my woolen dress and I brought home the plaid silk. It was very cold for the time of year. I read some in evening. Sunday May 9th 1915 Hattie is 58 years old today. She has reached Everett, Pa. all right. I went to church this morning. I met Ada McCallister and went with her to Presbyterian church. A bright day. The folks came out to supper. We had a very happy time. Monday May 10th 1915 I did a little washing in forenoon. Went up to the cemetery in afternoon and stopped at Mrs Emmons for my dress. I got Fannie at 5:40 and was very tired. In evening gathered up things to pack. Tuesday May 11th 1915 Did some ironing and went down town to Mildred Stevens to visit with Fannie & Cora. I had a letter from Hattie and wrote her a letter. Will came home with me at 4:30 and we put in the evening packing our things to go tomorrow. Wednesday May 12th 1915 Got breakfast in good time and every thing ready to go down at 8:15. The train was on time and we had nice trip. Warner McCall met us and had pleasant evening with them. Thursday May 13th 1915 We went to The Bismarck time club meeting in afternoon and later found The Fullers who lived with us in Iowa City. Walter Lee's folks came in the evening. Weather cooler after rain last night.
