Thursday August 19th 1915 Hattie to town in morning to helped with dinner for "Old Ladies Home." I was busy part of the day with the regular work. Bertha Williams came and she that was Edith Murry for supper. Then an Auto load went to the Dress Parade. Friday August 20th 1915 Hattie went early to help with dinner in town. Bertha and I walked over for our dinners and to see parade. Went down to Fannies later in afternoon. a fine day. Saturday August 21st 1915 Were busy with work all forenoon. Had some ladies in to spend afternoon. We spent the evening at home. Sunday August 22nd 1915 Hattie & I were busy most of the forenoon with the dinner. Rob took a party and was gone all day in the Auto. We rode most of the afternoon with Otts folks. Hattie and I over Aunt Libs after supper. Monday August 23rd 1915 We did washing and bread baking in forenoon. After dinner Rob took all including Fannie over to Mrs [Momretts?]. When we got home found Joe & Mollie Williams here. The girls took Auto ride after supper and I did the evening work. Tuesday August 24th 1915 Rob had the wood house turned around to fix for a garage. Will helped him work at it all day. Before supper the folks went out to Coralville for chickens. I was in town afternoon awhile. Will over to band concert in evening tonight. Ott & Fannie up here. Cora came home from Minneapolis. Letter from Lydia.
