Monday November 1st 1915 The girls did a big washing. We got part of the ironing done. Hattie went to Shakespeare Club and to Miss Smileys funeral. I got the supper. We spent evening at home. Tuesday November 2nd 1915 We finished ironing and Hattie went to Ida Andersons to an all day Aid Society meeting. Soon after dinner I went to town with Rob who took some men to West Liberty. Will went too. LeGrand came fo us at 5 oclock. Fannie in town too. Wednesday November 3rd 1915 Wrote Lydia Cousin Jen & Sister Ida. Will went to Carolville to see about the men putting the roof on the house and brought me a letter from Winnie with clippings and Maude Gilbert is dead. Thursday November 4th 1915. Will & I brought some things to eat and came out to work all day. The men finished the roof and Will picked up all the trash. I swept the house, cleaned the garrett, and put the screens away. Went back at 8:15. a fine warm day. Friday November 5th 1015 We were busy with the work all forenoon. Hattie went to P. E. O. meeting and I over to Coras to Missionary meeting. I got the supper. We spent the evening at home. Saturday November 6th 1915 Hattie & I gave the house a good going over before she went to Mrs Davis to a luncheon. I wrote to Winnie and Mrs George Emmons in afternoon. In evening Mollie, Hattie, and I walked to town to a picture show "The Goose Girl." Mollie went home. Will went with us for company.
