Sunday November 7th 1915 It was warm as summer. I was home all day and alone in the afternoon. Will & Hattie went riding with Otts folks. Robs were gone all day. I finished reading Vanity Fair in the evening. Monday November 8th 1915 The girls washed in forenoon and Hattie went to Old Ladies Home luncheon. I ironed in afternoon. Mrs Lee called. In the evening Mollie & I went riding with Rob & Cora and down to the valley. Paul came back from home and he brought Robs horse "Davy" Tuesday November 9th 1915 We came out home to stay a few days. I began to do some sewing but the [machine?] bothered some. Wednesday November 10th 1915 I did some baking in forenoon. I was in town an hour in afternoon. I had a letter from Mrs Emmons and Millie has gone back to Allentown for awhile. I did not get much done. Thursday November 11th 1915 Will & I went down to the church here at ten oclock to attend Mr Clarks funeral. I sewed all afternoon. Friday November 12th 1915 A nice day. I was at home sewing. Will to town afternoon. Saturday November 13th 1915 Will & I went down home at 8:15. I helped Hattie all forenoon with the work. Paul Helsnicks cousin came at noon. The folks all went to the Ames Game. It was the Annual S U I Home coming. Great crowd in town. I was over town awhile. Wrote Lydia & Cousin Jen. We all spent the evening at home. Cool but bright. Bob Clark badly hirt. Fell from light pole.
