Wednesday December 8th 1915
I did a little on my Christmas work in forenoon.
After dinner I cleaned up the house some and
put up the Christmas Bells. Cora came out at 4:30
and Rob later in the Auto for supper. They took
the kitten home with them. Busy till late bed time.
Thursday December 9th 1915
Got a little done in the morning and went to town
at 1:15. Did some shopping. wrote Hattie and went out
to Aunt Emmas. I came home at 5:30 and met Will
at the Coralville church where we had supper. I came
directly home and worked till late bed time.
Rob & Cora had a great scare with "Taxie" today. He
got some poison but they saved his life.
Friday December 10th 1915
I was very busy all day and till late bed and
finished several things. Will put a lot of old 
lumber in the barn in forenoon. It began snowing
before noon and we did not go to town as we planned
to see Ott and stay down to the M E Bazaar and supper.
Saturday December 11th 1915
It snowed by spells most of the day. I could not go
to town so we washed and dried the clothes in the
house. Late in the afternoon so many were dry that
I put the rest of them up. Will was in town to see
the tenant "Mr. Stiles" about the rent as he had
a sale Thursday and was going away. Busy with
Christmas work and mending till late bed-time.
I swept the whole house between times of other work.
