Tuesday January 1st 1907 When Will came back from taking "Barney" to town (he got $190.00 for him) he churned for me. I got the meals and worked all my spare time on Mothers jacket. It was a dark cloudy day A very quiet New Years day. Wednesday January 2nd 1907 Weather still gloomy. I am feeling better I do not cough so much I worked afternoon and evening on Mothers jacket. Will busy about the place. Thursday January 3rd 1907 I finished Mothers jacket and got early dinner I left at 12.37 for down home. Spent the afternoon with Mother. Came home at 4.15. Wrote to Lydia in evening. Friday January 4 1907 I was busy doing baking and churning. I had more house work to do after dinner Will busy about the place most of the day. Weather brighter. Saturday January 5 1907 It was a beautiful day. I took the things for the dinner and went down at 3.37 to Mothers birth-day party. Uncle Jim brought Aunt Lib.
