Thursday January 17 1907 I did not have so very much house-work to do today so put in the greater part of the time sewing. Will busy about the place. He churned for me late in the afternoon. I wrote to Joe Woolf in the evening. Weather mild. Will got potatoes ready to take down home. Friday January 18 1907 I went down to Woolfs while Will went on over home with the potatoes. I got the dinner when I got back. I hurried things & some mending and went down to Mrs Robinsons for awhile. Will working about the place clearing out snow and making paths. Saturday January 19 1907 It rained all day long. I got the meals and sewed quite a lot. Will did not go to town at all. Prof [Teeters?] little bout was buried today. It was a dark ugly day. Sunday January 20 1907 It turned very cold last night and the wind was frightful. I was not out of the house. I got the meals and read and wrote some. We could not keep the house comfortable with the hottest fires. I cut out some pictures in the evening to send to Lydia after writing a long letter to Joe Woolf.
