Monday January 21st 1907 It was still cold. I was fixing a black dress skirt that [Louie?] gave me. I did a little work at my tatting and got the meals. Will busy at home. Tuesday January 22 1907 I had thought to go down home but it was too cold. did churning and was busy sewing at different things all my spare time. Wednesday January 23 1907 I did up the work and went down town at 10.57 I paid half of my years church subscription did some shopping and got over home jist in time for dinner. Spent the afternoon visiting with Mother & Hattie came home at 4.15. Did evening work and was busy with sewing all evening. Thursday January 24 1907 I was busy with baking most of the forenoon. I baked a burnt sugar cake for the first time. After noon I swept and cleaned the lower story. Hattie came out at 4.15. I got the supper. John came out later and they went home at 9.37. It made a very pleasant evening. I did a little on tatting.
