Sunday February 3 1907 The wind did not blow quite so strong but the cold was intense. We could keep the house more comfortable I did some baking and cleaning up that I could not get done yesterday I read and wrote a little. Monday February 4 1907 Still very cold I did some sewing in the forenoon and ripped up a green flannel dress shirt and worked it to make a petticoat of. I knit in the even Will has a cold but was at work all day He had Clarence Vaughn to help him. We got the meat today. Tuesday February 5 1907 It was a very little warmer today. I pressed the [goods?] for my skirt and worked at it all the spare time I had. I sewed carpet rags in evening Josephine out for the butter in the afternoon. Wednesday February 6 1907 I did the regular work and finished my skirt it looks very well. I cut out some [illegible] sewing. Will went to town in afternoon I read a little in evening and sewed a few more carpet rags. Weather not quite so cold
