Monday July 22 1907 I had Billy to help me work. I got the dinner and in the afternoon was down calling on the neighbors in Coralville. Did evening work. Will has begun to make hay. Tuesday July 23 1907 I am 56 years old today. I did ironing and other work in forenoon and was down to Mary Woolfs in afternoon. We had to talk over a letter received from Emma Allen. Joe Kyle began cutting the oats this afternoon. I did the evening work after coming home on the 5.20 car. The men hard at work. Wednesday July 24 1907 I got things prepared for dinner and Jennie [Donovan?] came out before ten to get it for me. I took her home and drove out to Aunt Emmas. Mother rode with me. The relatives were invited there. Aunt Emma had such a nice dinner. I came home early it looked like rain. I met Jennie in town and we rode over to her home from there I cam by car. Will and I spent the evening on the porch talking over a letter Mary had from Joe today. They finished the oats today. Edith Stevens broke her arm after I left Aunt Emmas.
