Thursday August 8 1907 I did ironing and churning this morning. got the dinner and we went to the grounds. Billy Sunday spoke. I was not at all pleased with him. We came home for supper. Will did not go back with us. We had more pictures and Edwin Vance Cook impersonator. Friday August 9 1907 Did baking and other work. The boys finished the hay. We have 72 loads. We went to the grounds both afternoon and evening to hear [Tunes?] band. Lorna stayed down there with the relatives for supper. The Chautauqua is ended and it has been fine. Saturday August 10 1907 I was busy with the work all forenoon. After dinner Lorna and I went down town in the buggy. And was over to Aunt Libs. Did evening work. A warm day. Will down town in afternoon. Sunday August 11 1907 It was a very warm morning. Lorna and I went down town by car and Ethel took us out to Aunt Emmas Will came at dinner time. We had such a good visit Did not get home till nearly six oclock. Did evening work and sat on the porch awhile.
