Tuesday August 27 1907 When we got up this morning "Pet" had a nice little colt. Will got ready and went down town at 8.37 he will leave town at 10.30. Billy helped me do the washing. I was down home in the afternoon. Nell Barnes is there to stay all night. I came home and did part of the ironing too wet for [illegible] Wednesday August 28 1907 I finished the ironing and fixed dinner for Billy then went down to Frankie [Pointoins?]. Mother Hattie, Aunt Ellen and the girls were [illegible] We had such a good visit. It looked like rain all day but nothing came of it. I did some work in the evening and some writing. Thursday August 29 1907 I baked bread and cake in the forenoon and did some sweeping. I got us some dinner and went to town at 2.37 and back on the same car. I did more work on the house, made fruit salad and molded butter and looked after some little things. I heard from Lizzie Lindley today. I wrote Will. It has looked like rain. It stormed last night.
