Wednesday November 27 1907 I was at home and busy all morning with the work getting things ready for tomorrow. Will hitched "nellie" for me after dinner and I went down to Mary Woolf in the afternoon. It was a very nice day. I wrote to [Vera?] in the evening. Fannie and Aunt [Anna?] called in forenoon. Thursday November 28 1907 I got my turkey on to cook and the house in order and the dinner going. Ott & Mother with William. The rest of the folks came by car. Fannie & LeGrand went to Des Moines. The dinner was good they all appeared to enjoy it and in the afternoon, Ott had some papers of Fathers with him and we talked over business matters. It was late when the folks went home. I knit in the evening. Friday November 29 1907 I did a washing in the forenoon. Will busy about the place. Billy came back at noon and the boys put hay in the barn. I went down town was over home awhile and to Dr Smith office. Came home at 5.20. Saturday November 30 1907 I was at home all day and busy with the work most of the time. Did ironing & baking & churning. I baked a cake to take down home tomorrow for Otts birthday dinner.
