Sunday February 9 1908 It was a fine day. I went down to the Dedication of the new church. It is beautiful beyond compare. The sermon was good. After that they took subscriptions to finish paying for the church. I gave $108.00 to be paid in three years. I felt I must do all I could to help. It was late when I got over home to dinner. I wrote to Lydia and made a package of her pillow cases for her birth-day gift. I came home at 5.20 got the supper and read & wrote and did some talking on the telephone. Monday February 10 1908 I was busy about the work most of the forenoon. After dinner I got some mail ready and worked at my tatting some. Will helped Ed [Kover?] with the ice and they finished filling the house. That made it too late to go down to the church with me to the service. I came home with Mr & Mrs Robinson, Hattie & Mollie went with me Tuesday February 11 1908 I went down town to get some things early this morning. I sewed a little in the afternoon. It has thawed very fast and it is spoiling the ice. I read some in the evening. The boys busy about the place. We were down to Woolfs in afternoon. Will is quite sick since Saturday.
