Tuesday April 28 1908 I was busy with the work most of the forenoon I went down town was at Dr Smiths office twice but did not get to see him. I spent part of the afternoon with Ann [Hensler?] at the hotel. I came home at 4.37 to do the work. Wednesday April 29 1908 The boys took the cattle to the pasture this morning. When they came back Billy helped me with the wash. Will churned for me soon as we ate dinner. I ironed before four oclock and put things to rights before Mollie got here at 4.39. I had a nice supper and we visited till bedtime. A long letter from Lydia Thursday April 30 1908 Mollie helped me and we had the work done up as I went to town with her at 8.12. I saw Dr Smith got a lot of things to bring home was up to Mrs Springers paid for my hat and saw Mr Clark paid $100 to church. I got home at 9.39. I put things away and got some dinner [Mr Myer?] was here. I rode down to Woolfs with him. Will sat up a few moment afternoon. I came home at 4.39 did evening work. Was late after supper for I had some things to fix for company tomorrow. The boys plowing. The last sow had pigs this evening. There is more than 90 of them. I finished [illegible] handkerchief.
