Tuesday September 22 1908 I made peach butter and did baking today. I rested awhile in the afternoon. weather very warm. Wednesday September 23 1908 I put up some more tomatoes in the forenoon got the other work done and the dinner early. I went to town at 11.12. I saw Dr Smith so I got home at 3.39. Will was on the porch so I talked with him till chore time. Thursday September 24 1908 I did quite a little working this forenoon. Will cleaned of the grass from the bricks at the north door so I scrubbed it good. I did some mending in afternoon Elsie Rhodes is to be married today to a Mr John Smith Friday September 25 1908 I ironed in the forenoon and did regular work. Went down town at 2.12 to see Dr Smith I came home at 4.39 I had such a terrible headache I could hardly get supper. Saturday September 26 1908 I churned and baked cake and got dinner early. Will found ice at the CRJ & P ice house up the river. I was busy most of the afternoon doing some things I was over to Jones too watching him work on the house. It began raining early in the evening. Will to town in afternoon.
